About
Back-end developer with 5+ years on Laravel and PHP, mostly in payments, hospitality and e-commerce. I'm at my best turning a messy real-world process into a system that holds up — I've modeled a hotel's whole operation from meetings with its staff, and turned a balance distributor's tangle of spreadsheets into a real financial ledger.
I also do a lot of performance work: getting slow requests off the request thread and onto queues, and clearing out the N+1 queries that pile up as an app grows. Currently Backend Laravel developer & Team lead at Ultra Solutions; previously trained 50+ engineers at Darrebni. Based in Damascus.

2025 — Present
Backend Laravel developer & Team leadUltra Solutions
Built the onboarding & licensing service for a multi-tenant restaurant SaaS (isolated database per tenant, automated license enforcement with grace periods and a full backup before removal). Designed a hotel management system end to end as a modular monolith (nwidart, 8 modules) with Syrian tax-authority integration, then adapted it into a villa-rental product with a reversed prepayment flow. Built reporting APIs over an ~80-table POS & inventory domain. Led a 3-person team.

Laravel trainerDarrebni
Trained 50+ software engineers on fundamentals, clean code and team-based projects.
-
2023 — 2024
Laravel developerTrendDXB (UAE)
Built the entire backend and API for Uranus↗, a car-rental booking platform, and built Vida-Food↗ end to end — an e-commerce site for a UAE food supplier (catalog, cart, checkout, admin dashboard). Led the frontend developer and UI/UX designer.
-
2022 — 2023
Laravel developerLimitless Group
Worked on Wesal, a consumer app for topping up mobile credit and paying bills in Syria, shipped on the App Store↗ and Play Store↗. Rebuilt the balance-transfer flow — moved it off a synchronous controller onto a queue and cleared the N+1 queries, cutting response time — and added failure recovery that retries paid-but-untransferred transactions on a schedule.

2021 — 2022
Laravel developerInSoft Online (Germany)
Built an internal time-tracking and task tool: tasks and timers per project, per-employee admin reporting, and exportable monthly reports.

Freelance Laravel developerSelf-employed
Trend System (a financial back-office / ledger that replaced a mobile-balance distributor's spreadsheets — bank, cashbox and shareholder balances, client debts, and Syriatel/MTN transfers with margin tracked per source), Alsafwa↗ (dental-clinic system — removed N+1 queries and trimmed the API to return only the diagnosis tree in use), and Najeeb (e-learning with role-based access, subscriptions, attendance-based progress and a lesson calendar).
